Description

Rosco Canoes make 2x Tasman Raider models; the Tasman Raider Day & the Tasman Raider XP. They are identical apart from the number of hatches. The Tasman Raider Day (1x dayhatch behind the cockpit & 1x glovebox hatch in front of the cockpit) is a good choice for paddlers looking for a seaworthy raft without needing the storage of a traditional sea kayak. Both Tasman Raider models are a popular option for flat water paddlers looking to transition into open water padling.

The Tasman Raider Day is an all-rounder, providing competent open water performance. The compact size keeps the weight down and makes the craft easier to handle and manouvre on the water and more managable to transport.

The shallow V-shaped hull makes this a stable craft, suitable for all abilities and provides great tracking. The Tasman Raider comes standard with a rudder for responsive steering.

The medium-sized cockpit is fitted out with adjustable highbraces anda comfortable, paddes seat with a low, foam backrest. The footrests are easy to adjust by pulling or pushing a lever behind the footpegs.

- Suitable for small or medium built paddlers (larger or taller paddlers are better suited to the Southern Raider or SRX)
