Rosco Canoes build 2x Tasman Raider models; the Tasman Raider XP & the Tasman Raider Day. Theyare identical apart from the number of hatches. The Tasman Raider XP has 4x and the Tasmann Raider Day has 2x. The Tasman Raider XP is the choice for optimum storage and overnight or longer trips.
The Tasman Raider XP appeals to a range of paddlers due to its compact, lighweight yet strong construction and is currently our most sold sea kayak.
Wether you are a seasoned open water paddler or a flat water paddler looking to transition into sea kayaking, the Tasman Raider XP offers an exciting & reliable experience.
The shallow V-shaped hull provides reassuring stability & easy tracking and the moderate rocker keeps manoevrability alive. The craft comes standard with a flip up rudder for responsive steering.
The Tasman Raider XP has a medium-sized cockpit with a comfortable, padded seat with a lowcut foam backrest. Further fit-out includes adjustable thighbraces and easily adjustable footrests.
- Designed for small or medium build paddlers (taller or heavier paddlers are better suited to the Rosco Southern Raider or SRX).
